Overdose deaths, from opioids, increasingly stem from illicit substances and persons who do not fit the convenient narratives.

The below Washington Post report tracks changes occurring over eight years and states that users are clueless as to the chemical ingredients of the substances they are purchasing and introducing into their bodies.  In this article, physicians are not involved and neither is Big Pharma.  The victims are not reported to be former high school athletes who had sports injuries and they are not getting their unknown substances from drug stores.  Each dose is high risk and potentially fatal.
