Science to the rescue... for the cost of $1.00, adults poised to self-administer an unknown substance (which could kill them if it turns out to be even a small quantity of Fentanyl), can now chemically test the substance prior to self-administration and, perhaps, save their own lives.

Good news for all lives at risk! A chemical-test-key is now available to CNS depressant users (Heroin, Opium, Oxy, Morphine) which enables them to test substances sold illicitly as one substance...to determine whether the potentially-lethal substance Fentanyl is a component in their purchase/gift.

Sadly, the below report indicated that only 70% of 355 users interviewed stated that a positive test would alter their use - 30% would use despite the positive test.

"The Johns Hopkins researchers indeed found 70 percent of the 355 users interviewed for the study said that if they knew a substance contained fentanyl, they would either not consume it at all, would use it more slowly or would use it in the company of someone who has naloxone—an overdose-reversal medication that can be injected or sprayed through the nostrils."

Elsewhere in the report, the test strips proved to be 100% accurate for identifying Fentanyl in drug sampling in Baltimore and 96% positive in samples from Rhode Island.
