The world of Forensic Science needs, in light of Colorado's 2 year study of traffic fatalities since THC use was approved (showing that one third involved THC in the absence of alcohol), some scientists to dive into a study of quantifying Blood/THC levels that state legislatures find unacceptable while driving.  In this sense, such a scientific finding could bear the name of the successful scientist (if it is possible with THC) and the U.S. could someday refer to it as "The Jackson Factor" or the "Washington Factor," or the "Lopez Factor."

Since THC, like alcohol, is fat soluble, the scientists may find that their equations are different when men and women are tested.  Such were Widmark's findings with alcohol.

Thanks to Eric Widmark, Forensic Science has benefited from a scientific and mathematical means of allowing legislatures to set unacceptable levels of blood alcohol when operating a motor vehicle.  Widmark's experimentations were extensive and have found wide acceptance in most states in America and forensic findings of BAC are routinely accepted by courts, when all steps are accurately followed.
